Air Craft Museum Lift

Description

Two U.S. Air Force fighter jets from Operation Dessert Storm are now monuments in front of the Louisiana National Guard’s newly-opened Jackson Barracks Museum (Jan 2014), located in Chalmette, LA. One F15-A at 56,000 lb., 43′ x 64′ x 19′ (wingspan, length, height) and a F100 at 35,000 lb., 39′ x 54′ x 16′ were lifted, transported, placed, and welded-in-place atop pedestals at the museum’s grand entrance.
