Largest Costal Preservation Contract to Date

We are proud to announce our newest and largest coastal preservation project to date: BA-27c Barataria Basin Landbridge Shoreline Protection, a $14M project for the USDA NRCS at an estimated 20 month delivery date.  The purpose of this project is to significantly reduce the wave energy impacting the shorelines of Little Lake and Bayou Perot and to protect the adjacent marsh areas from further degradation.  The Scope of Work for this project includes the construction of an estimated 28,722 cubic yards of encapsulated lightweight aggregate, 123,000 square yards of geotextile and 124,000 tons of rock riprap.  Other activities associated with this construction shall include contractor quality control, construction surveys, excavation for flotation access, warning signs and markers and settlement plates.
