38th Fastest-Growing Private Company in America, 2014
2nd in Government Services
#1 in Louisiana
Inc. 500 hundred has recognized the Top 10 fastest growing companies in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina.
As the natural coastal erosion of the Gulf’s shoreline continues, especially in southeastern Louisiana, expedited over the last century due to human intervention, Pontchartrain Partners is dedicated to finding and implementing new solutions to the problem. The company founders have pulled together their collective efforts to serve in the protection of our receding coast. Gathered from the lessons learned in the rebuilding of the levees after Hurricane Katrina, the company’s commitment to the mission has taken on a personal level.
The Pontchartrain Partners team has a vast understanding of managing large-scale wetland restoration, barrier islands, beneficial use, and beach reclamation projects with large-scale dredging and marine contractors, from both the government regulatory and private side. Our team has experience working for and collaborating with the organizations associated with major ports in Houston, TX, New York, NY, New Orleans, LA, Beaufort, SC, Pascagoula, MS, and several other coastal cities. The team has also operated under state and federal agencies, including the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, LA Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration, LA Wildlife and Fisheries, and numerous districts within the Army Corps of Engineers.
Pontchartrain is able to provide unique dredging/marine construction knowledge due to its familiarity with various operations associated with port work, such as dredging along docks and navigable channels and the construction/repair of docks, structural pilings, and bulkheads. The team has members who have extensive working and training tutelage from one of the largest dredging contractors in the world, Royal Boskalis Westminster, located out of Papendrecht, Netherlands.
Our dredging expert within Pontchartrain’s team was a major contributor to the construction management of the following completed projects:
